Starting with the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers before the game's launch, to players forming strong views on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With many of the Super Forms boasting unique appearances that highlight their personalities, one idea naturally: What's the best way to connect this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was almost selected for this fire sign, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. Gemini – Mega Medicham

Look at this total queen. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the soul of any gathering, offering an endless fountain of chatter to those who wants to hear. Much like an captivating, sociable Twins, it's very simple to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire Wild Zone with their stories. The Crab – Super Manectric

The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly critical is clearly reflected throughout this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” rather than making a plan.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive creature, who employs the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Always empathetic – occasionally to a detriment – and trying to maintain the peace, there are numerous Scales who would probably appreciate Super Audino's skills. However, let’s be honest, it would likely just make them worry more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

Banette is a creature with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a toy, it became sentient through sheer resentment and swore revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpio adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a performance. Being a Archer myself, the amount of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly little jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Super Form, its description even notes how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can imagine.

Capricorn – Mega Absol
